We are proud to participate as an official Run for a Reason charity in the 2015 Chevron Houston Marathon for the 10th consecutive year!
Thanks to the generosity of our many donors and the determination of runners who have competed on our behalf in past years, the Houston Marathon has raised close to $170,000 toward the fight against breast cancer.
At Komen Houston, we are committed to responsible stewardship of every dollar that is generously donated.
In 2014, we awarded a total of $2.7 million to fund breast cancer education, screening, treatment, support and research.
• $1.9 million was granted to 21 local community organizations to fund breast cancer programs
• Over $900,000 invested to fund critical research through the Komen National Award and Research Grant

Because of you, thousands of lives are being saved and each day brings us closer to finding a cure for breast cancer.
