Komen Houston is the local expert when it comes to understanding breast cancer’s impact on the greater Houston area. Every four years, we examine the gaps in service and barriers to care by conducting an assessment called the Community Profile. This process ensures that all of our efforts address the greatest needs in the communities we serve. All of Komen Houston’s funded partners will specifically assist identified populations and areas of need that are outlined in the 2015 Community Profile.
In addition to funding local services, Komen Houston is proud to fund $490,980 for research through the Susan G. Komen® Research and Training Grants Program.
