Komen Houston Teams Up With Ikea to "Rally For The Race'

Several Race Rallies to Take Place this Summer throughout the Houston Area

What: The Houston Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is proud to “Rally for the Race” in support of the 22nd Annual Komen Houston Race for the Cure®, Oct. 6 in Downtown Houston.  Several “Rally for the Race” events will be held this summer to encourage participants to register early for the event with the first Rally at IKEA Houston, Saturday, July 14 at 10 a.m.

People of all ages are encouraged to attend this special “Pink” Saturday, with exciting scavenger hunts through IKEA Houston for 22 FREE Race registrations every hour.

Ralliers will be able to register for this year’s Race, meet other Race teams and show their support for another great Race season.  In addition, participants will assist Komen Houston in continuing it’s commitment to raise funds and award grants, serving as a leader in the fight against breast cancer in its seven-county service area – providing THE BEST SCIENCE, THE BOLDEST COMMUNITY, and making THE BIGGEST IMPACT.

When: Saturday, July 14 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
