2015 Pink Honor Roll Spotlight - Jane Gasdaska

After losing her mother Eleanor to breast cancer on December 13, 2013, Jane got involved with Susan G. Komen® Houston and the Race for the Cure® as a way to support the programs that help women affected by breast cancer.   She also lost her aunt Rosemary to breast cancer.

“It is a great cause and I feel as though I can help women with what they need to fight it, regardless of what stage of diagnosis they are at.” says Jane. This year, Jane ranked #12 on the 2015 Pink Honor Roll for her phenomenal fundraising efforts in raising $11,715 to support Komen Houston’s mission – to save lives and end breast cancer forever.  Her Race team, headed by Chaitali Dave, held a t-shirt and bake sale to raise funds for Komen Houston.  She would like to thank Chaitali for spearheading their team’s efforts.
